9:00 a.m., October 29, 2013: City crews worked through the night at the Lowell Creek Waterfall. The road to Lowell Point remains closed as crews continue to remove debris so the waterfall can properly drain into Resurrection Bay.

At this point, the bridge is not drivable. City administration and crews do not have an estimate of when the bridge will be drivable, so it remains closed until further notice. Additional information will be disseminated as it becomes available.

We’ve been told Miller’s Landing is available for water taxi services and can be reached at 224-5739. If you have an emergency, please dial 9-1-1 or Seward Dispatch at 224-3338.
