  1. Community Book Club @ Library & Museum - The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

    February 16, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Seward Community Library & Museum Meeting Room

    The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. Meet Junior, a budding cartoonist who leaves his troubled school on the Spokane Indian Reservation to attend an all-white farm town high school. This controversial book and author will provoke lively discussion. Don’t forget to bring a tasty dish to share! The Community Book Club meets monthly every third Saturday of the month at 11am in the Meeting Room October through April. All are welcome, whether or not the book was finished. Stop by or call for the current selection. Winter only.

    Each week features a new theme and selection from our Children’s Library collection. Don’t miss out on fun and play with books, activities, creative and developmental toys, and drawing/writing material selected each week to go with the theme.
