Join us to learn how this simple but fun program will work, register for the program, enjoy free food, activities and get started on your summer reading goals.

  3. Iditarod & Earthquake Movie@2 Library Museum Program

    June 1, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Seward Community Library & Museum Community Room (upstairs Meeting Room on occasion)

    The Iditarod Historic Trail Alliance and the Seward Community Library Association have granted the Seward Community Library & Museum permission to show their movies, Iditarod National Historic Trail: A History and Waves Over Seward, respectively. Each movie lasts 25 minutes and will be shown one after the other, daily at 2pm, Monday-Saturday, May 13-September 16 with a special showing on October 2. The Resurrection Bay Historical Society (RBHS) will also be showing these movies on Summer Sunday’s when they open the museum 1-5pm. We are the only place to view these wonderful historic productions on a regular basis in Alaska. Thank you to all of the supporting organizations who make this program possible. All locals and visitors are welcome, whether they make a donation or not!
