  1. Bid Opening - Seward 2017 Storm Surge Damage Repairs

    Sealed bids will be received at the City Clerk, P.O. Box 167, Seward, Alaska 99664, physically located at 410 Adam Street, Seward, Alaska until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on August 29, 2019 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Clearly mark on the outside of the envelope “2017 Seward Storm Surge Damage Repairs, Opening Date August 29 2019”. Proposals may not be withdrawn for thirty days following date of opening. The City of Seward is not responsible for any undelivered mail.

Library/Museum

  1. Iditarod & Earthquake Movie@2 Library Museum Program

    August 29, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Seward Community Library & Museum Community Room

    The Iditarod Historic Trail Alliance and the Seward Community Library Association have granted the Seward Community Library & Museum permission to show their movies, Iditarod National Historic Trail: A History and Waves Over Seward. Each movie lasts 25 minutes and will be shown one after the other, daily at 2pm, Monday-Saturday, May 13-September 16 with a special showing on October 2. Shows in upstairs Meeting Room on occasion. The Resurrection Bay Historical Society (RBHS) will also be showing these movies on Summer Sunday’s when they open the museum 1-5pm. All locals and visitors are welcome, whether they make a donation or not!
