The Seward Community Library & Museum is a public library, historical museum, archive and community center serving Seward and the surrounding area.

The library provides both physical and virtual materials to serve the educational and informational needs of our patrons in the most efficient and effective manner possible.  Our over 6,000 library cardholders have access to 30,000 volumes including videos, recorded books, and music, computer CD's and DVD's. To examine our collection at your leisure, visit our online catalog.

The library also offers copy, fax, notary and passport acceptance services. For more information about these services or to arrange space for a public meeting, please contact a staff member.

The museum, now on the first floor of the Library & Museum building, contains almost 5,000 objects, photographs, and archives. Operated as a partnership with the Resurrection Bay Historical Society, the museum is committed to documenting and interpreting the diverse history of the town of Seward and the Resurrection Bay.
