The Teen & Youth Center hosts a diverse program offering. The TYC can look and sound like prom night at our special dances. It might appear like a college computer lab when all the hard-drives are buzzing. Speaking of noise, sometimes the place is a video arcade boasting Wii, X-Box, PS2, 360 and other cool games. At times, it might seem like a rainy day on vacation with board games, visiting, eating hot dogs, and making craft projects. Sometimes it feels like your parent's basement with air hockey, 8-ball, and surround sound and DVD on the big screen TV. Whatever might be happening, the TYC staff and volunteers share the activities with the youth and teens.

Glacier Family Medicine Pumpkin Prowl
Sat, Oct 20th Forest Acres Park at 6:30pm for ages 9 & under. Search for mini pumpkins, roast marshmallows and sip hot cocoa. This is a free event for the youth brought to by: Glacier Family Medicine, Seward Parks & Recreation and TYC Councils.

Family Masquerade Ball
Seward Parks & Recreation Presents the 8th Annual Family Masquerade Ball Sat, Oct 20th; 7 to 9pm. Following the pumpkin Prowl walk on over to the Seward Resort and do the Monster Mash, win spooktacular prizes & don’t forget your costume!! Costume contest at 8 p. $3 in costume; $4 no costume; $10 Family. Sponsored by the Seward Resort, Polar Bear Festival & SPRD.

Seward’s Annual Halloween Carnival!
Wed, Oct 31st 6 – 9pm at the Dale Lindsey Railroad Terminal. It’s bigger and better than ever! Bring the whole family and enjoy the fun - contests, games and food for everyone. Applications for booths may be picked up at the SPRD office in the AVTEC’s Student Services Center or at the High School. For more info contact Shari Adelmann at 224-4054. The Teen & Youth Center offers programs for kids & teens. We invite elementary kids, grade K-6; Middle School, grades 7 & 8; and High School, grades 9-12. Kids participate in several recreation, education, and social events. We offer outdoor activities, crafts, gym time, big screen TV, DVD player, Play Station 2, X Box 360, Guitar Hero, Wii, Rock Band pool tables, computers with high speed internet access & lots more.
