The Teen and Youth Center staff strives to improve and promote the TYC programs and our facility.

The staff is professionally committed to offering positive opportunities and choices, as well as a safe and accepting environment

After School Program

TYC After School Program is in full swing. Grades K-5 are welcome to join us for some activities and excitement after school Monday – Friday. We offer a wide variety of activities daily including crafts, sports, cooking and team challenges. We also offer “Schools Out” Day Camps, Programs on Early Release days and Winter/Spring Break Camps. Scholarships applications are available, just ask Josie. Call 224-5472 or email

TYC After Hours
TYC After Hours program is a Middle School drop-in program designed to engage and support kids in grades 6-8. The staff have activities available for the pre teen and teens to do including crafts games and cooking. Kids are welcome to use the computers, pool table and ping pong area. This program is free to participants thanks to the TYC council. Permission slips are required for participation. Contact Josie at 224-5472 or for more information.

Summer Camps

TYC offers 2 exciting Summer Camp Programs. The 1st is our Day Camp for Elementary age kids. This program is divided into Pups and Rookery. As our Elementary School Mascot s the Sea Lion. Our Pups program is offered to kids who have completed a year of Kindergarten and will be entering into 1st grade and those entering into Second grade. Our Rookery provides age appropriate recreation for kids going into 3-5th grade. Please check out our Day Camp brochures.

The Adventure Camp is designed to stimulate the adventuresome spirit in the Middle School age camper. Campers in 6-8th grade will go on more camping trips, Experience more challenging activities and expect to hike, bike and play a bit harder then those in Day Camp.  Please use the link to view our Adventure Camp brochure.

Camp runs 12 weeks this summer with STEM activities done each week. Safety is out 1st concern followed by our team goal to send your child home Dirty, Tired and Hungary every night. IF you have any questions please feel free to call Josie at 224-5472
