CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS AS OF 07/27/16 • CITY OF SEWARD

The City of Seward is currently hiring for the following positions. Please click on the link below for full job descriptions and an application for employment.

Full-Time Regular Positions:
  • Animal Control Officer
  • Public Works Technician

Seasonal Parks & Recreation, Campgrounds, and Parking Openings:
  • Campground Host 
  • Campground Attendants
  • Winter Program Aides (Full Time)
  • Winter Program Aides (Part Time)
  • Parking Lot Attendants

Most positions require a valid Alaska driver’s license.  Successful applicants must pass a background investigation and drug testing. Preference may be given to current City employees. Thank you for your interest in applying for a seasonal job with the Parks and Recreation Department, the Parking Department or with ALPAR litter patrol.  We will hire over (50) summer seasonal employees.   As you compete for jobs, please include the following to help determine who we will consider and interview:

  • Three letters of recommendations from non-family members.
