Meeting Spaces
Rooms for Public Meetings & Events
The Seward Community Library Museum contains two meeting spaces and one research room available for public use.  Other spaces may be considered upon request.

Community Room
Located on the ground floor (museum level), this larger room is 1168 sq. ft. with an occupancy limit of 79 sitting and 238 standing, and a large drop-down projection screen.  A rolling white board, 100 chairs and 20 eight foot tables are available in the adjoining storage room to configure the room as needed. A small adjoining kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, small and commercial size coffeemakers, hot water dispenser and two sinks. 

Meeting Room
Located on the second floor (library level), this smaller room is 507 sq ft. with an occupancy limit of 34 sitting and 73 standing.  A conference table seats 8.  Additional tables maybe set up as needed.  It is equipped with a large screen television, drop-down projector screen, marker boards, counter space with sink, coffeemaker, hot water pot, and microwave. Online With Libraries (OWL) video conferencing services for this room require at least a week's notice to schedule.

Both rooms have high quality speakerphone capabilities.

Some equipment may be available for overnight check-out to local patrons in good standing.  Call for more information.  A deposit may be required.

Research Room
Located on the second floor, past the Library Front Desk, and near the coin operated copier, this small room is equipped with two un-timed computers, a microfiche viewer, a printer with a scanner, a white board, and a special Alaska Reference collection.  This room may be reserved for up to two hours at a time to conduct research, study, view microfiche, conduct a video conference, take an online course, or take a proctored test.  Please call to schedule a reservation or a proctored test.
