City of Seward Reports Four New Positive COVID-19 Test Results &
New City Regulations
Seward, Alaska – Today, the City of Seward is reporting four (4) new positive COVID-19 test results from testing performed by the Seward Community Health Center and Providence Seward. Glacier Family Medicine Clinic reported zero positives today.
There have been a total of 35 positive test results reported out of Seward testing facilities since the beginning of this pandemic. Of those, 31 new positives have been reported in one week since June 26, 2020.
In addition, the Seward City Council enacted Emergency Ordinance 2020-008, adopting temporary regulations affecting facial coverings, campgrounds, large gatherings, and retail and service providers. The regulations went into effect today and will remain in effect for 30 days.
