The Seward Community Library & Museum is a unique combined public library, museum, archives and community center serving Seward and the surrounding area providing opportunities for equal access to information, technology, lifelong learning, community enrichment, and the preservation of Seward’s heritage. 

Museum Winter Hours (October 1 - April 30): FREE Admission

Friday: 10am - 6pm

Saturday: 10am - 5pm 

Seward Museum Virtual Tour

Experience the museum in a new way from the comfort of your home. Wander through the museum's exhibits at your own pace, view some of our artifacts, and learn fascinating stories of Seward's local history!

  • Front doors are locked 15 minutes prior to closing time in order to assist patrons already in the building.
  • Appointments required for room use and passport applications.

New News Resource - NewsBank

It can be used at the library without needing to sign in to the website (As long as you're on a patron computer or using the library's Wi-Fi).

It can also be used outside of the library by signing in with your library card number.

The Seward Community Library & Museum has two meeting spaces and two Shushbooths available for public use upon approval.  Other spaces may be considered upon request. Book your meeting online here!
