Seward Police Department
The Seward Police Department recently replaced their aging Remington 870 Pump Action Shotguns with semi auto Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol shotguns. All of the officers have shot well with the new platform. Deputy Chief Karl Schaefermeyer had one of the best performances we have seen during the slug qualification. He had a perfect score with a very tight group shot under timed conditions.

This guy was caught near Bear Creek trying to hitchhike to Anchorage but lawyered up and refused to answer questions. He is being held at our Maximum Custody facility on Sea Lion until his parents can be located. Any information leading to his return home would be appreciated.
